Tony Stewart’s victory moves him closer to the top 30 in the points standings

Tony Stewart is nine points from 30th, which will make him eligible for the playoffs, after his victory Sunday at Sonoma Raceway. Stewart climbed three spots to 32nd. Stewart has 10 races to climb into the top 30 in points.

Stewart has 196 points. Brian Scott is 30th in the standings with 205 points.

Only two spots in the top 10 changed after Sunday’s race. Carl Edwards climbed a spot to third, knocking Brad Keselowski down to fourth.
