There are 40 cars on the preliminary entry list for the Xfinity Series’ race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Challenge.
So far only one Sprint Cup driver, Ryan Blaney, is entered. Blaney will drive the No. 22 Ford for Team Penske. Sam Hornish Jr. will drive the No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.
Owen Kelly will drive the No. 18 for Joe Gibbs Racing.
The No. 89 of Morgan Shepherd has withdrawn from the race. Two cars do not have drivers announced yet.
The 2015 race at Mid-Ohio was won by Regan Smith after a last lap bump-and run of Alex Tagliani.
