Orlando Magic sign F Adonis Thomas.
Thomas joins fellow 10-day contract recipient Dewayne Dedmon as the 13th and 14th players on Orlando’s roster and will be available for Tuesday’s game against the Wizards. While he has been effective in the D-League, Thomas won’t immediately be part of the Magic’s rotation and can be left on waiver wires.
  • Power Forward #55
The Magic have signed Adonis Thomas to a second 10-day contract.
Like they did with Dewayne Dedmon, the Magic decided to re-up Thomas to a second 10-day deal in advance of the Thursday deadline. Thomas has only played 14 minutes over the course of two games with the Magic, so his fantasy value is literally limited to the deepest league out there.
  • Power Forward #55
Adonis Thomas will sign a 10-day deal with the Magic on Monday and will be available to play on Tuesday vs. the Wizards.
He’s having a solid campaign in the D-League this year, averaging 16.2 points, 4.2 boards, 0.9 steals and 1.5 turnovers with the Springfield Armor. Thomas has back-to-back 21-point games and is improving, but he’s still not projected to be in the rotation right away.
  • Power Forward #55
Adonis Thomas will attend mini-camps with the Rockets, Spurs, and Jazz, according to his agent.
While the 23-year-old will attend multiple mini-camps, he is long shot to hook on with an NBA team and can be ignored by fantasy owners.
  • Power Forward #55
Adonis Thomas has signed a deal to play for Scandone Avellino in Italy.
Thomas has spent time with the Magic and 76ers, but spent last season in the D-League with averages of 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
  • Power Forward #55
Adonis Thomas will take part in the Spurs free agent camp on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old is set to attend several mini camps this summer, but he’s a long shot to land on an NBA roster and can be ignored by fantasy owners.
  • Power Forward #55
Adonis Thomas has officially signed a one-year deal with Scandone Avellino in Italy.
He suffered a season-ending wrist injury in the D-League last season, but he was putting up averages of 17.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game before he went down. He’s just 23 years old, so he could generate some NBA interest if he has a strong campaign overseas.
  • Power Forward #55
The 76ers signed swingman Adonis Thomas to a 10-day contract on Monday.
Thomas went undrafted this summer but he’s already had one 10-day stint with the Magic, during which he averaged 1.8 points in four games. Philly’s revolving door of free agents and D-Leaguers is spinning as fast as ever while the regular season draws mercifully to a close.
  • FA Power Forward #24
Marcus Morris had one of his toenails ripped off during Saturday’s scrimmage.
This is obviously nothing serious and he should be fine in a couple days. Morris played some stretch four next to Stanley Johnson at the three, but that was mainly because Ersan Ilyasova was out with a sore hip. Currently projected to start at small forward, Morris is worth a look in the late rounds for owners in need of 3-point shooting, but Johnson is a legitimate threat to his minutes moving forward. Adonis Thomas is also dealing with some Achilles soreness, but it’s not considered serious.

The Pistons will give Adonis Thomas a real shot to compete for a roster spot against Reggie Bullock during training camp, according to Detroit beat reporter David Mayo.
Bullock isn’t a lock to make the Pistons’ opening-night roster with so much depth at the small forward position, and Thomas grants Detroit a bit more versatility in that he can play multiple positions. However, neither of these guys would have any value serving as an emergency depth guy for Detroit, so it’s safe to leave both Bullock and Thomas untouched on draft day.
