The Clippers will sign Alex Stepheson to a second 10-day contract when his first one expires on Wednesday.
He has played a total of nine minutes in two appearances for the Clippers, so this doesn’t have any fantasy implications.
  • Small Forward #35
Alex Sepheson has officially signed his second 10-day contract with the Clippers.
Stepheson is a negligible part of the rotation in Los Angeles and belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.
  • Small Forward #35
The Grizzlies will sign forward Alex Stepheson to a 10-day deal.
Stepheson’s 10-day contract with the Clippers just ended on Saturday. This could be a sign that Zach Randolph (knee) is going to miss more time, and Stepheson could compete for minutes off the bench with Jarell Martin right away. To be clear, he’s not on the fantasy radar yet.

    Grizzlies sign F Alex Stepheson.
It’s a 10-day deal and he should be available for the razor-thin Grizzlies frontcourt. Stepheson is a pretty good rebounder and he’ll be the fourth big man on the depth chart. He’ll likely back up JaMychal Green at the power forward and would likely only get minutes in the teens.
  • Small Forward #35
Alex Stepheson played well in his debut for the Grizzlies on Saturday, scoring four points on 1-of-5 shooting with six boards, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 19 minutes.
He could continue to get minutes in the teens until Zach Randolph (knee) eventually returns, but he’s only worth monitoring in deeper leagues for now. Stepheson led the D-League in rebounds before his jump to the NBA, so we will let you know if his role grows. Keep in mind that he’s on a 10-day deal.
  • Small Forward #35
The Clippers are planning to sign Alex Stepheson to a 10-day deal.
He leads the D-League in rebounds per game with 13.8, but he’s not much of a scorer. Leave Stepheson on the wire in all leagues.
  • Small Forward #35
Alex Stepheson will not be re-signed after his second 10-day contract expires on Saturday.
It’s hardly surprising given that Stepheson has only managed to log a total of 12 minutes through 11 games with the Clippers. He belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.

    Clippers sign F Alex Stepheson.
He’s not going to be in the rotation and only has a chance to play in garbage time.
  • Small Forward #35
Alex Stepheson debuted for the Clippers on Saturday vs. the Warriors, grabbing one rebound in two minutes.
He is on a 10-day deal and may only get minutes during garbage time. Leave him on the wire.

Alex Stepheson set two career highs in Monday’s loss to the Rockets with 12 points and 15 boards in 25 minutes before fouling out.
He was just 5-of-17 from the field and picked up most of his run during garbage time of the blowout loss, but the Grizzlies are running out of options in their frontcourt. In fact, they were down to just eight active players after P.J. Hairston left with a groin injury. For now, ignore Stepheson outside of very deep leagues unless he does this again.
