Fenerbahçe announced on Monday that Brandon Boston Jr. has agreed to a one-year deal.
Boston, the 51st overall pick in the 2021 draft, played his first three NBA seasons with the Clippers before joining the Pelicans on a two-way deal last October. Converted to a standard deal in February due to the Pelicans’ many injuries, Boston appeared in 42 games last season, averaging 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 three-pointers in 23.6 minutes. He underwent left ankle surgery in late April but will be ready when Fenerbahçe begins its season.

Boston Jr. missed the final two months of the season and will miss at least three more after undergoing surgery. Boston Jr. played well for New Orleans in an expanded role due to injuries on the wing, and he was converted from a two-way deal to a standard contract in February. He has yet to play a game on this new deal, but based on this timeline, he should be ready well before training camp starts next season.

Boston has missed the last eight games with an ankle injury. The 23-year-old shooting guard is available Tuesday, but with CJ McCollum back and it being Boston’s first game in some time expectations should be low for Boston.

Brandon Boston Jr. (ankle) is out for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Boston remains out with a sprained left ankle, missing the last eight games. With CJ McCollum back in the lineup after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Pelicans, Boston’s absence will continue to have minimal impact on fantasy basketball.

Brandon Boston Jr. (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Suns.
Boston has missed nine of his team’s previous 10 games and is now set to miss his seventh consecutive contest. He hasn’t been in the rotation for a while and his absence shouldn’t affect fantasy basketball.

Brandon Boston Jr. (ankle) is out for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
With Bruce Brown (rest) also out for Thursday’s game, Boston’s continued absence leaves the Pelicans light on options on the wings. Jordan Hawkins and Antonio Reeves should play more despite being reserves, with the former offering a higher fantasy ceiling.
