Chris Douglas-Roberts reportedly has no second thoughts about having signed a one-year deal with Virtus Bologna in Italy.
CDR doesn’t have an out clause, so he’ll be in Italy until their season ends. His NBA career has been rocky, and it may be good for him to get lots of playing time and rehabilitate his image overseas.

    Lakers sign G/F Chris Douglas-Roberts.
CRD earned a camp invite with the expectation that he’ll play for the Lakers’ D-League affiliate. He fell off the radar after playing in Italy during the lockout, but has enough upside to be worth a low-cost gamble for L.A.

The Lakers waived Chris Douglas-Roberts on Monday.
L.A. reportedly liked CDR’s game, but they needed to make some tough roster cuts to get down to the 15-player limit. He played in Italy during the lockout and could return overseas if he doesn’t draw interest from NBA teams.

The Lakers are “high” on Chris Douglas-Roberts, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles.
CDR is just trying to make the final roster in training camp. However, the previous indication was that Douglas-Roberts would spend some time in the D-League, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him do that in order to play consistent minutes.

The Mavericks have signed Chris Douglas-Roberts to a non-guaranteed contract.
CDR’s stay might be very short considering the Mavs now have 18 players on their roster and will need to cut three players by Monday. He has the talent to stick on an NBA team’s bench, whether it’s in Dallas or somewhere else.

    Mavericks sign Chris Douglas-Roberts.
CDR was started 38 games in the ’09-'10 season for the Nets, but he’ll likely just warm the bench for the Mavericks. He can be ignored in fantasy leagues.

Chris Douglas-Roberts was waived by the Mavericks on Sunday.
CDR was a Maverick for approximately 22 hours, but he’s talented enough to eventually latch onto another team’s bench.

Chris Douglas-Roberts scored a season-high four points in 15 minutes as the Mavericks fell to the Thunder 111-105 on Thursday.
He hasn’t been too shabby with the Mavericks so far and his minutes on Thursday were up from the 10 he played on Sunday. He’s only on the radar in deep leagues and he won’t offer much upside.
  • NOP Shooting Guard #55
The Mavericks waived Chris Douglas-Roberts on Sunday.
He played 10.6 minutes per game in six contests this season. CDR was tearing it up in the D-League and he will likely catch on with another team at some point this year. He has no fantasy value.

The Mavericks will call up Chris Douglas-Roberts to replace Derek Fisher.
He has been hot in the D-League and has 27.8 points per game with the Texas Legends. CDR was waived by the Mavs back in October and he might be able to crack the rotation. Although, there’s no reason to pick him up in any league just yet.
