Siler was waived by the Suns in January and his best chance at a successful pro basketball career is by playing overseas.

Given his size and potential, Siler is almost certain to catch on with another squad and could get another look from the Hawks this season. With Wednesday’s moves, the Atlanta roster is now down to 13.

It’s a money move for the Suns who already have a very thin roster but want to take advantage of his contract. Don’t be surprised to see Siler bounce between leagues this year.

Siler’s return has no impact in fantasy leagues, as (for now) he’s just another big body at the end of Phoenix’s bench.

Siler played with the Shanghai Sharks last year, where he averaged 14.1 points and 9.3 rebounds. He is a legitimate 6'11" and 300 lbs but has good hands and a soft touch -- he’s basically competing directly with Dwayne Jones to serve as the Suns’ backup big man.
