Daniel Gafford (ankle) is out for Monday’s matchup with New York.
Gafford will be out for a third straight game, which means more minutes for Dwight Powell, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Moussa Cisse. None of that trio is particularly appealing for fantasy basketball purposes.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Saturday.
Gafford will miss a second straight game after initially being listed as doubtful. Dwight Powell should start once again, with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Moussa Cisse set to fill out the center minutes off the bench.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Jazz on Saturday.
Gafford missed Thursday’s game after an early exit on Wednesday and is now expected to remain out once again. Dwight Powell should be in line for another start at center, with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Moussa Cisse filling out the backup minutes.
  • Pacers waived Jeremiah Robinson-Earl.
The 25-year-old was signed to a standard deal back on November 20th and will now be released to make room on the roster for Garrison Mathews. Robinson-Earl was playing just 14 minutes per game over the last two weeks and had not entered either of the last two games.
  • ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Pacers intend to sign forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a standard, non-guaranteed deal.
The 25-year-old is currently on a 10-day contract, which is his second of the season. He is averaging 5.2 points and 6.2 rebounds on 36.4 percent shooting from the field in 20.3 minutes for the Pacers in 10 games this season.
  • IND Forward #22
Andrew Nembhard, Bennedict Mathurin, Jarace Walker, Pascal Siakam and Isaiah Jackson will start Monday’s game against the Pistons.
Mathurin is back and will make his first appearance since October 25, as he returns from a foot injury. As a result, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl will head back to the bench. The other change is Jackson, who replaces Tony Bradley in the starting five. Mathurin’s minutes will likely be limited, but he’s worth rostering given the Pacers’ lack of consistent scorers.
  • IND Center-Forward #13
Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Pascal Siakam, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Tony Bradley will start Tuesday’s game against the Jazz.
Nembhard is the only holdover from the five who started Sunday’s loss to the Warriors. Nesmith and Siakam are back after missing that contest, with Ben Sheppard and Jarace Walker moving to the bench. The other two changes are Robinson-Earl and Bradley, who replace Jay Huff and Isaiah Jackson. JRE and Bradley aren’t great streaming options, but the change to start gives them a shot at achieving fantasy relevance.
  • Pacers signed Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a 10-day contract on Tuesday.
This will be a second 10-day for JRE, which means they’ll have to sign him to a rest-of-season deal if they want to keep him beyond this contract. He has played big minutes for the Pacers recently, averaging 8.0 points and 10.7 rebounds over 24.8 minutes per game over their last three outings. He’ll likely continue to fill a large role, but he’s only worth a roster spot in deep formats.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (rest) is out for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Siakam, who has shouldered a heavy workload this season due to the Pacers’ many injuries, will get Sunday night off. This is a brutal hit for fantasy managers who were hoping for a big performance from Spicy P on the final night of Week 3. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl’s playing time will likely increase after he logged 15 minutes on Saturday, but he isn’t the most trustworthy streaming option. If Jarace Walker is on the waiver wire, add him first.
  • Jeremiah Robinson-Earl accounted for eight points (3-of-9 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s loss to the Nets.
Due to their many injuries, the Pacers signed Robinson-Earl to a 10-day contract over the weekend. Wednesday’s game was the first in which he truly stood out, grabbing 15 rebounds. There’s no need to consider adding Robinson-Earl based on one performance, but he’s looking to earn himself an opportunity, whether it’s with the Pacers or another team.
