According to the Observer’s Rick Bonnell, Bobcats’ forward Walter Herrmann is on the outside, looking in, on the rotation.
Coach Sam Vincent is apparently leaning toward taller guys (Ryan Hollins and Jermareo Davidson) to complement Emeka Okafor inside for the Cats this season. This doesn’t make sense to Bonnell or us, and we still think Herrmann will find a way to earn minutes this season. There’s a lot of talk about Hollins starting at center on opening night, but we’ll believe it when we see it. And if he does start, we’re guessing it won’t last until Thanksgiving.

The trade sending Jermareo Davidson and Jason Richardson to the Bobcats for Brandan Wright is official.
The Warriors used the 36th pick on Davidson and then sent him to the Bobcats along with guard Jason Richardson in exchange for Brandan Wright. Davidson is obviously the least valuable of the three players, and he may have a tough time sticking with the Cats, or any other team
  • GSW Power Forward
The Bobcats signed second-round pick Jermareo Davidson on Friday.
The Bobcats acquired the rights to Davidson from Golden State in the draft-night deal that exchanged rookie Brandan Wright for shooting guard Jason Richardson. Davidson will play power forward in a reserve role for the Bobcats this season.
  • Power Forward #34
The Warriors signed rookie forward Brandan Wright to a two-year contract with team options for two more years on Friday.
Wright, the eighth pick in last month’s draft, was acquired in a trade with Charlotte for Jason Richardson and second-round pick Jermareo Davidson. Wright will be guaranteed about $4 million for the two seasons under terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Wright was the ACC’s rookie of the year and tournament MVP as a freshman at North Carolina. His name has appeared in trade rumors for Kevin Garnett, but he is expected to play for the Warriors this season. While he’ll be an intriguing fantasy pick late in drafts, we doubt he offers value in his rookie season.
  • GSW Power Forward
The Charlotte Bobcats assigned rookie Jermareo Davidson to the D-League on Friday, but rescinded the decision once they traded away Primoz Brezec and Walter Herrmann to the Pistons for Nazr Mohammed.
Davidson won’t have any fantasy value with the Bobcats despite the departure of Brezec and Herrmann.
  • GSW Power Forward
The Charlotte Bobcats assigned rookie Jermareo Davidson to the D-league on Friday.
We hadn’t even noticed Davidson being recalled from the D-league, so this won’t have any fantasy impact.
  • Othella Harrington missed his second straight game with pain from arthritis in his surgically repaired left knee.
The injury has kept little-used rookie Jermareo Davidson from starting a stint in the NBA Development League. Nazr Mohammed’s emergence will assure Harrington will have minimal value in their frontcourt.
  • GSW Power Forward
Jermareo Davidson was recalled from the D-Leauge by the Bobcats on Friday.
He scored two points in three minutes of a loss to the Nets.
  • GSW Power Forward
Jermareo Davidson averaged just two points and two rebounds in five summer league games.
Davidson has good size but just isn’t an NBA player. It’s unlikely he’ll make the Warriors roster this season.
  • GSW Power Forward
The Warriors have waived forward Jermareo Davidson.
Davidson averaged two points and 2.2 rebounds in five summer league games while recovering from offseason surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot. He might latch on with another team, but won’t have any fantasy value this season.
