The Cavaliers have waived forward Joey Graham.
He was an afterthought in Cleveland to begin with and could have trouble finding a job in the NBA this season.
  • CLE Small Forward
The Timberwolves worked out James Anderson and Joey Graham on Wednesday.
The team is looking for a replacement for Josh Howard (torn ACL), but no matter who is signed, they won’t bring fantasy value to the table.
  • CLE Small Forward
Joey Graham had 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting tonight.
He’s missed a couple games with knee tendinitis, but looked great tonight. The knee could be a concern all season, but it wasn’t tonight.
  • CLE Small Forward
Joey Graham sat out the second half of tonight’s game with knee tendinitis.
Not good news for the rookie, as tendinitis seems to linger. He won’t have fantasy value this year anyway, but should have a nice pro career.
  • CLE Small Forward
Joey Graham got the start tonight and had 16 points, five boards and two steals for the Raptors.
He’s a great looking rookie, with the only concern being his knee tendinitis. Charlie Villanueva’s a better fantasy pick though.
  • CLE Small Forward
Joey Graham had seven points and five boards in a surprise start for the Raptors tonight.
Charlie Villanueva came off the bench and finished with 11 points and six boards. Villanueva should be starting, but Graham is a true small forward. As long as the Raps choose to start Loren Woods at center, Graham will probably start.
  • CLE Small Forward
Joey Graham plans to focus on defense for the Raptors this year.
''I want to come here and be that guy that the coach can tell, ‘cover him’ or ‘stop him,’'' he said. ''I want to be the guy that covers Tracy (McGrady), Kobe (Bryant) or LeBron (James).’' Wow. You have to think Sam Mitchell loves hearing that, and if Graham can play D like he thinks he can, he may be in the starting lineup come opening night.
  • CLE Small Forward
The Toronto Raptors took Joey Graham with the 16th pick.
This pick was much better than the Charlie Villanueva pick, but the Raptors have pretty much failed in this draft. GM Rob Babcock was under pressure to have a big draft, but didn’t. Graham can play alongside Chris Bosh, but Gerald Green, Danny Granger or Hakim Warrick would have probably been a better pick here. Graham will get some playing time next year, and may be worth a late flyer in fantasy drafts next year.
  • CLE Small Forward
Joey Graham is going to miss the Minnesota summer league with a strained right calf.
He and Charlie Villanueva were to play five games in Minnesota starting on Thursday, but that’s not likely to happen now.
  • GSW Shooting Guard #28
The Toronto Star reports, "(Raptors’ head coach) Sam Mitchell confirmed rampant speculation last night when he said Jason Kapono would be the starting small forward and suggested he’d go with a nine-man rotation on most nights.
This move was expected, and although Kapono makes a decent insurance policy for your fantasy squad, his minutes will likely be limited in spite of the starting job.
