The Kings picked up their team options on forward Francisco Garcia and shooting guard Quincy Douby on Friday.

Garcia may flourish under new coach Reggie Theus, who envisions him bringing the ball up the court occasionally, while Douby should become a decent outside option for the Kings. They also made qualifying offers to guard Ronnie Price and forward Justin Williams, who both made the club as undrafted free agents. They are scheduled to be restricted free agents, and the Kings will have the right to match any contract offer they receive this summer. Garcia is probably worth a late-round flyer in fantasy leagues, while Douby may be worth a free agent pickup at some point next season.

The Kings made a qualifying offer to big man Justin Williams on Friday.

The team can match any offers he might receive, but either way, he should have no fantasy value this season. Williams racked up some double-doubles last year with Brad Miller and Kenny Thomas sidelined, but won’t have much value this season unless the Kings are injury riddled.

Sacramento Kings center Justin Williams agreed to the team’s qualifying offer on Tuesday.

We’re guessing he remains with the Kings. He averaged five points and 4.4 rebounds in 26 games for Sacramento last year and 11.8 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in five summer league games.

Justin Williams is expected to play for the Kings summer league team.

It’s not a sure bet he’ll be back with the club next season, although he did impress the team late in the season with his rebounding ability and Sacramento did make a qualifying offer to him just over a week ago. Certainly the addition of Spencer Hawes hurts Williams’ chances.

The lawyer for Justin Williams, accused of sexual assault, says the sex his client and girlfriend had with a Sacramento woman was consensual.

“The truth is nothing happened that night that was not consensual, and we have proof of it,” William J. Portanova said. “While some people may find it distasteful to think about it, it’s a reality of 21st-century life.” Police searched Williams’ house on Wednesday and discovered evidence, but spokespeople for the police refused to say what was found.

Sacramento Kings reserve center Justin Williams has been accused by a Sacramento woman of sexual assault, a source told The Bee on Thursday, and the reserve big man has been given an indefinite leave of absence from the team as the investigation continues.

The woman told police last week that she met Williams and another woman at a party and went with the couple to Williams’ home. The woman said she did not drink before arriving at Williams’ home and felt woozy after having a drink at the house. According to the source, who asked to not be identified because the investigation is ongoing, Williams and the other woman tried to have sex with the alleged victim in Williams’ bedroom. Williams played well in the summer league and could get some run this year with Spencer Hawes sidelined by knee surgery. But his contract is not guaranteed and this news is going to hurt his chances at making the team’s regular-season roster.

Kings forward Justin Williams was waived by the team on Saturday.

Williams was a casualty of the trade that sent Mike Bibby to the Hawks, though we’re guessing the allegations of sexual assault he faced didn’t help his cause.

Second-year forward Justin Williams is expected to join the Kings soon, after charges were not filed against him in a sexual misconduct case.

While Williams likely won’t be there to help against Minnesota tonight, the Kings are close to having their entire roster on the court. Williams however will not only take time to develop, he is also stuck behind Brad Miller and Mikki Moore.

Prosecutors declined to file charges Tuesday against Sacramento Kings center Justin Williams over allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman.

Congratulations to Williams on this mess coming to an end. Now he can go back to not having any fantasy value.

Sacramento police have finished their investigation into allegations that Justin Williams sexually assaulted a woman and have sent their findings to prosecutors.

It will be up to the Sacramento County district attorney’s office to decide if any charges should be filed. Officers searched Williams’ home last month after a woman accused him of sexually assaulting her there. He has said the player and his girlfriend had consensual sex with the woman and that no crimes were committed.
