According to the Timberwolves PR official X.com account, Jaden McDaniels (knee) is out for Saturday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Minnesota’s depth will be challenged on Saturday, and McDaniels’ absence should free up more opportunities for Naz Reid and Kyle Anderson.
  • MIN Center-Forward #11
Naz Reid (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.
Reid is back after missing the Timberwolves’ last two games with a sprained right ankle. His return is likely to result in fewer minutes for Kyle Anderson and Terrence Shannon Jr., eliminating both players’ streaming value.
  • MIN Center-Forward #11
Naz Reid (ankle) is out for Saturday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Reid will miss a second consecutive game with a sprained right ankle. His continued absence means more playing time for Kyle Anderson and Terrence Shannon Jr. The latter is worth a look for managers seeking assists, as Anderson racked up six in Wednesday’s win over the Jazz.
  • MIN Center-Forward #11
Naz Reid (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Reid did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Jazz after spraining his right ankle the night prior. Kyle Anderson and Terrence Shannon Jr. saw their minutes increase in his absence, with the former recording six assists and the latter three steals. Neither is a must-stream player if Reid remains out.
  • MIN Forward-Guard #12
Kyle Anderson (knee) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Anderson is back after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Magic with a sore right knee. His return expands the Timberwolves’ rotation to nine, as only eight players saw action the last time out. Andreson is not a player who should be rostered in redraft leagues.
  • MIN Forward-Guard #12
Kyle Anderson (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Lakers.
Due to a sore right knee, Anderson did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Magic. As a result, the Timberwolves stuck with an eight-man rotation instead of looking for a ninth player to take on Anderson’s role.
  • MIN Forward-Guard #12
Kyle Anderson (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Magic.
Anderson is out after being listed as questionable with right knee soreness. The 32-year-old small forward played 14 and 15 minutes in his last two games, so his absence will free up some minutes at the back end of the Timberwolves’ bench rotation. Similarly, his absence will have minimal impact on fantasy basketball.

Kyle Anderson (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Magic.
Anderson, who has played 14 and 15 minutes in his last two games, is dealing with a sore right knee. If he can’t play on Saturday, his absence frees up minutes on the back end of the Timberwolves’ rotation. In the game preceding Anderson’s return to Minnesota, head coach Chris Finch went with an eight-man rotation instead of nine.
  • MIN Forward-Guard #12
Kyle Anderson finished Tuesday’s win over the Grizzlies with two points (2-of-2 FTs) and one rebound.
Beginning his second stint with the Timberwolves, Anderson was thrust into the rotation immediately. While the playing time and production weren’t enough to make SloMo someone worth considering in fantasy leagues, his addition did extend Minnesota’s rotation to nine players. Mike Conley, who has been a non-factor in fantasy basketball, picked up another DNP-CD, while Bones Hyland (six points, two rebounds and two three-pointers) played just 12 minutes off the bench.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Grizzlies and Kyle Anderson have agreed to a contract buyout.
Anderson has missed Memphis’ last four games, the last two for personal reasons. He’s reportedly leaving Memphis, with Charania reporting that Anderson plans to sign with the Timberwolves once he clears waivers. To address the opening on their roster and lack of frontcourt depth, the Grizzlies are reportedly signing Taj Gibson.
