Amar’e Stoudemire denies he was talking about Carmelo Anthony

Amar’e Stoudemire appeared to unload on Carmelo Anthony about Jeremy Lin and the Knicks’ struggles.

To be fair, Stoudemire never used Melo’s name – though reporters did in some questions Stoudemire was responding to.

Stoudemire, via Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald:

“I never mentioned his name once,” Stoudemire said Wednesday. “We’re close friends, family. Our kids were born a couple months apart. Our wives are very close friends. He knows I wasn’t talking about him.”
