Dwight Howard had the night off for Houston and Anthony Davis took full advantage on Tuesday night in a preseason game in New Orleans.
Davis had 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting, and what’s more impressive is the variety of ways he scored — midrange jumpers on the pick-and-pop, transition alley-oops, offensive rebounds, pretty much any way he wanted. Don’t forget he had eight rebounds and four blocks as well.
Davis is fast on his way to being the third best player in the NBA.
