Chris Paul is so shrewd, he outsmarted the usually heady Mike Conley.
Though the Grizzlies went on to beat the Clippers, Paul made a heck of a play by grabbing the ball from Conley, who had turned away to talk to a referee. To top it off, Paul then drew a shooting foul from a frustrated Conley while playing 1-on-5.
Oh, and the sequence preceding that – Marc Gasol’s nifty pass, Paul stealing it, Andrew Harrison blocking Paul’s layup, Paul fighting the loose ball from Conley and getting J.J. Redick a 3-pointer that nearly falls, Conley batting away the rebound from Paul – was wild as well.
