The wait will be a little longer to find out whether or not Chris Paul is going to play tomorrow. He missed the first two games of the Clippers’ second-round series against the Rockets after suffering a hamstring strain in Game 7 against the Spurs. With the series heading back to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Friday, Doc Rivers said Paul is a gametime decision.

Chris Paul is working out right now, Doc Rivers said.

Doc Rivers says Clippers won’t know until tomorrow if Chris Paul is playing.

Knowing Paul, unless he’s told in no uncertain terms by the Clippers’ medical staff that he can’t play, he’s going to give it a go. The Clippers are in great shape, winning one of two games without Paul in Houston. Even a semi-healthy version of him is an upgrade over the minutes they’ve been getting from Austin Rivers and Lester Hudson.
