DeMarcus Cousins had a lot of ups and downs against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.
The Sacramento Kings center -- known for his fiery on-court persona and league-leading technical foul count last season -- received his first such admonishment this year.
Cousins, ever the enigma, responded in surprising fashion:
That’s great news! A smile and a thumbs up can go a long way. Good for Cousins.
Unfortunately, when the Kings big man fouled out of the game with 37 seconds left, that good attitude was turned on its head.
Boogie ran up into the stands and threw his mouthpiece. Lucky for Sacramento he wasn’t charged with a second technical foul, and the Kings escaped with a win 106-103.
