This is some Kentucky on Kentucky crime.
DeMarcus Cousins is spending more time on the perimeter in George Karl’s offense and he gets the ball out at the top of the arc, and when Kendrick Perkins closes out on him, Cousins puts the ball on the floor and is not going to be intimidated by Anthony Davis trying to protect the rim.
Then Cousins mean mugs a little. He earned that right.
The Kings beat the Pelicans 107-98, Cousins had 19 points of 4-of-13 shooting (he got to the line 13 times, hitting 11). Davis also had 19 points (on 7-of-15 shooting).
