Lakers’ Legends remember Jerry Buss at memorial (VIDEO)

The Lakers held a fitting memorial on Thursday, one that was equal parts celebration, elegant tribute and craziness. It all kind of worked.

This highlight video has some of the best moments, including Shaq, although it lacked my favorite line of the event, from Jerry West:

“Everyone was saying he had to be the first one to work in the morning. He never went to bed, so how in the hell could he not be the first one there in the morning?”

RIP Dr. Buss.
