The Cavaliers are back from Brazil and have a home date with the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, but it won’t be another early opportunity for the Cleveland faithful to get a look at LeBron James.

Tuesday’s contest begins a stretch of three games in four nights for the Cavaliers, and with it being so early in the preseason, the team is choosing not to put any undue stress on its franchise player.

From Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

LeBron James will not play vs. Bucks tonight for rest day, Cavs coach David Blatt said after morning shootaround.

And from Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com:

LeBron said yesterday that he feels better now than he did at the start of camp. Still, Cavs won’t make him play 3 games in 4 nights

Gardner also reports that Tristan Thompson will be a game-time decision due to a shoulder issue.

LeBron is always the main attraction anytime he’s on the floor, but there’s at least another legitimate reason to tune into this one: The Giannis Antetokounmpo point guard experiment is set to begin.
