The Nick Young era in Denver is over.
Young, 33, was waived by the Denver Nuggets on Sunday just weeks after the team signed him.
Young played in four games for the Nuggets and has not played since Dec. 22.
The veteran guard was clearly not part of the plan for Denver long-term, and played in just 37 minutes for the Nuggets.

Last night Michael Malone referenced the team getting healthy “in the next week or so.” All signs are pointing to Harris and Barton joining Millsap back in the lineup very soon. https://t.co/WOlcd2TbGM

There hasn’t been much interest in Young around the league. Denver only added him to bolster their guard rotation due to injuries, which the team has slowly started to recover from.
It’s possible that Young ends up as a late-season signing with a team gunning for a Conference Finals, but pending that this could be his final go-around.
