Kevin Durant will reportedly announce his free-agent decision tonight.
The Nets are ready.
Marc Stein of The New York Times:
An undeniable vibe of confidence is emanating from Brooklyn as we speak: The Nets sure seem to believe they are getting Kevin Durant's commitment tonight to go with Kyrie Irving"s ... with DeAndre Jordan, Durant's close friend, to follow

The Nets have looked like the frontrunner to sign Durant for more than a week. Maybe this is just wishful thinking on their part, but there are plenty of signals it will happen.
Brooklyn appears even more certain to sign Kyrie Irving. A Durant-Irving pairing has been heavily discussed. Those two would put the Nets near the top of the league – once Durant gets healthy. Durant’s ruptured Achilles will reportedly cause him to miss all of next season.
That’s the risk with signing Durant to a max contract (four years, $ 164,255,700). But he’s so talented. If he signs with Brooklyn, everyone there will be ecstatic. He’s well worth the risk.
Meanwhile, the Warriors, Knicks and Clippers would have to find other options. But for now, those teams can hope the Nets have misread the situation.
