It’s a tough break for White. He was playing well for the Long Island Nets recently as a stretch-4 and was in line for a ten-day contract with the big club.

White was waived by the Wizards last month so they could sign Ron Baker. White has appeared in 44 games over three seasons in the NBA.

They needed to clear a roster spot to make room for Ron Baker, so White will get the cut. He should be able to find a minimum-level deal somewhere, but he’s irrelevant in fantasy hoops.

Neither of these guys have factored much into the rotation in Washington, so they’ll head down to the G-League to stay fresh.

White, who appeared in just one G League game, is not on the fantasy radar.

White will help add some depth to the Wizards’ frontcourt, but he won’t have much fantasy value at all.

White has a chance to hook on as one of the last players on Miami’s roster, but the team is hoping to stash him in the D-League if he’s unable to do so. Even if the 24-year-old survives the final roster cuts, he won’t have any fantasy value in 2016-17.

White sustained the injury on Friday, and there is really no reason for the Heat to try and push him through it. Although he’s unlikely to crack the final roster, Miami is reportedly hopeful of stashing White in the D-League.

The Heat signed White with the intention of stashing him in the D-League and it looks like that’s exactly what Miami is going to do.

“I feel very comfortable with Okaro, having him in summer league and training camp,” Spoelstra said after Saturday’s game vs. the Bucks. “What you saw tonight was what we liked about him — can defend multiple positions, active. He finds a way to fit in.” White played half of the fourth quarter in the win, but he’s only made two brief appearances for the Heat so far with averages of 0.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 13.5 minutes. It sounds like another 10-day deal is likely, but he has no fantasy value.
