Rex Chapman has accepted the general manager position for the Timberwolves.
Apparently he was instrumental in getting Steve Nash to Phoenix last year while he was director of basketball operations for the Suns, and is now ready to help Kevin McHale and Dwane Casey decide who to take at 14 tomorrow night.

Rex Chapman has plead guilty in his shoplifting case from last year.
Chapman has been sentenced to probation, community service, and has agreed to pay $15,000 to the Apple store from which he stole. While Chapman is hoping to have his four Class 6 felony charges reduced to misdemeanors, we’ll hope the former sharpshooter can now get his life back on track.

Former Suns player Rex Chapman has been accused of stealing $14K of merchandise from a Scottsdale Apple store and pawning the goods for cash.
He’s facing 14 felony counts and was arrested by the Scottdale Police Department. Chapman played in the league from 1988-2000, so this is a little surprising. He also had front-office duties with the Suns and Wolves.
