It’s likely a non-guaranteed deal, and he’s by no means a lock to make the team. He was actually waived by the Mavericks during camp back in 2012, and history will more than likely repeat itself in 2015.

The move was done to make room for G Tu Holloway, although Holloway could also be waived before the regular-season begins. Famous now likely try to prove himself in the D-League.
