    Dolphins re-signed CB A.J. Green.
Green signed with the Browns as a UDFA in 2020 and carved out a large role on special teams in his second season. He also got some run at cornerback before joining the Rams last year. He was cut by LA and bounced between their active roster and practice squad for half the season. The Dolphins eventually claimed him and are now giving him a shot to make the roster in 2026.

    Browns re-signed CB A.J. Green.
Green joined the Browns as a UDFA three years ago. He gets most of his work on special teams but has a pair of starts at cornerback to his name over the past two seasons. He logged 18 tackles and an interception in 2022.

  • MIN Wide Receiver #4
Cardinals declared WR Rondale Moore, CB Trayvon Mullen, RB Keaontay Ingram, LB Myjai Sanders, G Justin Pugh, TE Trey McBride, and DE J.J. Watt inactive for Week 1 against the Chiefs.
Look for Andy Isabella to work into the Cardinals’ receivers rotation with Moore and DeAndre Hopkins sidelined. Marquise Brown profiles as a potential target hog in what should be a high-scoring affair against the Chiefs, while A.J. Green will also be on the field in a Cardinals uniform. McBride being inactive likely means Zach Ertz (calf) will see something close to a full complement of snaps. Watt’s absence could mean Patrick Mahomes has all day to throw against Arizona.

Jets signed Oklahoma State CB A.J. Green.
Green (6'1/202) made 39 starts across 48 games in four years as a Cowboy, forcing an FBS-high 32 incompletions across his final two seasons with the Pokes. While his raw yards allowed (634 < 485 < 413) progressively decreased, his career 8.4 yards per target in coverage represents his struggles against Big 12 competition. He’s also highly susceptible to getting burned, permitting the nation’s sixth-most catches (14) of 20-plus yards on only 30 downfield targets. Green teased starting chops in manhandling NFL prospects Denzel Mims (1/16) and CeeDee Lamb (4/36) in 2019, but his 4.62 40-time and persistent downfield contact (flagged 15 times the past two seasons) project a fringe NFLer.
