Good fit for the Falcons. The 8-year starter will compete with Tod McBride, Tyrone Williams and Derek Ross for the starting cornerback job opposite Jason Webster. The Falcons look unlikely to take a corner with their #8 pick in the draft.

Also briefly a Jet, the ten-year veteran finished his career with 362 tackles and 24 interceptions in 121 games. Beasley was a top-ten corner in his hey day with Jacksonville, especially in the late 1990s. He’ll likely be given strong consideration in the coaching ranks.

No surprise here. The 8-year pro will have a hard time finding a starting job.
