Rams hired Andy Benoit as assistant to head coach Sean McVay/Special Projects.
Benoit, formerly of Sports Illustrated, the New York Times and CBS Sports will work as a researcher and second opinion for Sean McVay. This will be Benoit’s first position within the NFL. After the success of Brandon Staley, McVay’s unconventional choice for defensive coordinator in 2020, this hire is a bit of a heat check.
