Packers signed LS Brett Goode to a three-year, $2.715 million extension.
Goode received a $325,000 signing bonus, and his average salary is just higher than the contract signed by Panthers LS J.J. Jansen. Goode was originally signed as an injury replacement for Jansen in 2008.
  • Packers placed LS Brett Goode on injured reserve with a torn ACL, ending his season.
Rick Lovato has been signed as a replacement. 31 years old, Goode has been the Packers’ long snapper since 2008. He might not be back for 2016 if he isn’t healthy for the beginning of training camp.
  • Packers signed LS Brett Goode to a two-year, $1.6 million extension through 2012.
He received a $300K signing bonus, which is pretty nice for a third-year long snapper who isn’t making Pro Bowls. The Packers have developed Goode after he went undrafted out of Arkansas in 2008. Goode tackled Devin Hester twice on punt returns in Week 17 and was “virtually flawless” this season.
