Appalachian State junior RB Camerun Peoples rushed 13 times for 101 yards and no touchdowns in Saturday’s 59-38 loss to Western Kentucky.
Peoples (6'2/220) topped the century mark for just the second time this season, but it came in a losing effort as he and the Mountaineers were unable to keep pace with the Hilltoppers’ high-flying offense. Peoples’ biggest run on the day came on a 45-yard rush in the second quarter that eventually setup a 28-yard field goal, but Peoples was largely held in check for most of the afternoon. His season ends with a rushing total of 164 carries for 926 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Appalachian State junior RB Camerun Peoples rushed eight times for 61 yards and one touchdown as the Mountaineers fell to Appalachian State 24-16 on Saturday.
Peoples (6'2/220) would have had a much worse day if not for a second quarter run that accounted for nearly all of his yards on the afternoon. Late in the second quarter, Peoples broke off a 43-yard touchdown run, breaking through the front line to get free in the secondary on his way to pay dirt. Peoples has now rushed 153 times for 825 yards and 14 touchdowns, and will have one more game to add to his rushing totals come bowl season.

Appalachian State junior RB Camerun Peoples rushed 23 times for 90 yards, and also caught one pass for 12 yards in Appalachian State’s 31-7 win over South Alabama.
Peoples (6'2"/220) wasn’t terribly effective, but he did the slow, grinding work necessary to win games like these. He ate up clock, picked up consistent yards and kept chains moving so Appalachian State could ease through the game, which was close until a big fourth quarter. Peoples went for 100 yards from scrimmage, and it was hardly a bad day for the junior. He’s been a key cog this year, averaging 87 yards per game with 13 scores on the year, and he’ll be needed again next week at Troy.

Appalachian State junior RB Camrun Peoples rushed 14 times for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 48-14 win over Arkansas State on Saturday.
Peoples (6'2/220) was the catalyst for helping the Mountaineers take over the game in the second half. He ran for 76 of his 116 yards in the second half, including an explosive 28-yard run to put the final nail in the Red Wolves coffin. He took the ball up the middle, planted his foot in the ground, and exploded up the left sideline to increase the Mountaineers lead to 24. Peoples has scored a touchdown in all seven games that he has played this season for a total of 12. Very impressive for the junior running back who looks to make it eight in a row next Saturday against South Alabama

Appalachian State junior RB Camrun Peoples had 17 carries for 82 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 59-28 win over Louisiana Monroe.
Appalachian State had a lot of momentum coming into this game and it showed. Peoples (6'2/220) and Brice Chase commanded this offense put this game away early. Peoples got the Mountaineers on the board when the offensive push a gap up the middle so he can get the three-yard touchdown. He found the end zone again later in the second quarter as he ran through a traffic jam of ULM defenders, shedding about five tackles, walking the tight rope on the sideline to get in for the 26-yard score. App State is playing really well after the upset over Coastal Carolina and this blowout win over ULM, they’ve become a big threat in the Sun Belt. They get another chance for a big win when they face the last-place Arkansas State

Appalachian State junior RB Camrun Peoples had 25 carries for 78 yards and three touchdowns in Thursday’s 31-30 win over Marshall
It was a tale of two halves for Peoples (6'2"/220). He had all three of his goal-line touchdowns come in the first half. His eight rushing touchdowns on the season are tied with Marshall’s Rasheen Ali for most in the country. The tides would then quickly turn. Early in the third quarter, Peoples would fumble the ball and didn’t see the field for the rest of the game. Nathaniel Noel would come in relief and rushed for 150 yards in a 31-30 win over Marshall. We’ll have to see what kind of workload Peoples and Noel will get in next Saturday’s road matchup against Georgia Southern.

Appalachian State RB Camrun Peoples rushes for 94 yards and a touchdown in a 25-23 loss to Miami.
Peoples is coming off a 100 rushing yard and two touchdown performance against East Carolina; facing this talented Miami defense would be a challenge. The junior helped the Mountaineers early when he took the handoff and burst right up the middle through the Miami defense for the 17-yard score, tying this game at seven in the first quarter. The ground game of Peoples and Nate Noel was potent and kept App State in this game till the very end. The Mountaineers will host Elon next Saturday 9/18.
