The Redskins interviewed former Cardinals DC Clancy Pendergast for their defensive coordinator vacancy.
Pendergast’s interview is just coming to light now even though it happened two Fridays ago. So we can add him to a list of candidates that also includes Joe Barry, Wade Phillips, Ed Donatell, Eric Mangini, Raheem Morris and Vic Fangio. Pendergast, 47, has worked for five NFL teams and a coordinated a handful of college defenses as well.
