Bears re-signed DL Daniel Hardy to a two-year contract.
A former seventh-round pick from the 2022 draft class, Hardy has played on 853 special teams snaps since entering the league and was named as a Pro Bowl alternate last season. NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports Hardy can earn up to $6 million on his new contract, which will keep him with the team through 2027.

Rams selected Montana State LB Daniel Hardy with the No. 235 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Hardy in 2021 was a first-team All Big Sky player, starting all 15 games for Montana State and recording 24.5 tackles-for-loss -- the third-most in MSU history -- and16.5 sacks, the fourth most in school history. He blew away scouts at his pro day, running a 4.57 40-yard dash. Hardy should have a shot to crack the Rams lineup as a special teams player in 2022.
