Titans released RB Dominique Lindsay with an injury settlement.
Lindsay was a undrafted rookie out of East Carolina. Although he has third-down back skills, there was always a concern that his knee wouldn’t check out. Instead, it was an Achilles injury suffered in rookie orientation that required surgery. He probably won’t play at all this season.
  • TEN Running Back
Titans placed RB Dominique Lindsay (Achilles) on injured reserve.
Chris Johnson’s successor at East Carolina went undrafted after rushing for 1,180 yards on 239 carries last season. Lindsay recently underwent surgery on the Achilles tendon that was injured at rookie camp.
  • TEN Defensive Lineman
Titans released DT Kareem Brown, DE Marcus Howard, RB Dominique Lindsay and OT Jeff Hansen.
Brown, Howard, and Lindsay all suffered season-ending injuries in 2010. The Titans are cutting off the fat under the new regime.
