Drew Bledsoe will start this week against the Rams.
If the Bills don’t win, it could be his last start of the season. We guess the Bills will switch to J.P. Losman once they reach seven losses.
  • DAL Quarterback
Drew Bledsoe doesn’t anticipate a QB competition with J.P. Losman next season.
Yet another QB who says “It’s my team,” after the season. He’s probably right: moving to Losman would be a huge leap of faith for a team that is ready to contend for a championship.
  • DAL Quarterback
The Cardinals reportedly won’t have interest in Drew Bledsoe if becomes available.
Of course, Dennis Green often deliberately misleads the media about his quarterback intentions. If true, Bledsoe could have a hard time finding a good landing spot if released. Dallas is another possibility.
  • DAL Quarterback
The Bills will decide in the next two weeks whether to bring Drew Bledsoe back as the starting quarterback.
It’s very interesting they are considering making the switch to J.P. Losman in the offseason. Bledsoe would be somewhat unlikely to take less money to return as a backup.
  • DAL Quarterback
Drew Bledsoe calls playing for Dallas ''intriguing.’'
He also says he doesn’t see himself being a backup in the NFL. If the Cowboys sign Bledsoe, it’s a clear sign they don’t feel Drew Henson can start in 2005.
  • DAL Quarterback
The Cowboys have agreed in principle to a deal to make Drew Bledsoe their next starting quarterback.
Vinny Testaverde will not be back. Bledsoe couldn’t find a better landing spot to rehab his career. If Parcells could make Testaverde relevant again, Bledsoe has a chance. If Dallas can improve their O-line and add a receiver, Drew could make a fine QB2 in redraft leagues.
  • DAL Quarterback
The Bills re-negotiated QB Drew Bledsoe’s contract.
The deal will take out Bledsoe’s exhorbitant roster bonus for next season. This gives the Bills the realistic option of keeping Bledsoe past 2004.
  • DAL Quarterback
Drew Bledsoe’s renegotiated contract runs through 2006.
The deal saves $4.3 million against the salary cap. Bledsoe’s job would appear to be secure for the next two seasons if he plays well. That’s a big if, and we’re not sure the Bills did enough to solve their offensive line problems.
  • DAL Quarterback
The Bills have installed an alarm clock in Drew Bledsoe’s helmet that goes off after he’s held the ball for four seconds.
That’s a new one. Buffalo is desperate for Bledsoe to make quicker decisions this season.
  • DAL Quarterback
Drew Bledsoe completed 4-of-8 passes for 27 yards in his Cowboys debut.
It’s only the first game, but Dallas’ first-team only managed one first down and 17 total yards of offense in five series. Their O-line played horribly, a big concern for an immobile QB like Bledsoe.
