NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Falcons interviewed Cardinals pass game coordinator Drew Terrell for their open offensive coordinator position.
Terrell worked under new Lions offensive coordinator Drew Petzing in Arizona and is now interviewing at other spots with most of the coaching staff on the Cardinals experiencing turnover this offseason. The 34-year-old already interviewed with the Commanders and Chargers for their offensive coordinator roles this offseason and wrapped up another interview with the Falcons. Atlanta just completed hiring Kevin Stefanski as head coach and is now looking to round out the rest of the staff. Terrell may not call plays under Stefanski but his experience as pass game coordinator for Kyler Murray and Jacoby Brissett may be valued for the Falcons’ next starter.

Chargers interviewed Cardinals passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach Drew Terrell for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Former Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing landed on his feet after less than two weeks on the open market following his termination in Arizona, hired by the Lions for the same position. Terrell, who worked under Petzing with the Cardinals, has also been a hot commodity this coaching cycle after picking up interviews with the Commanders and Chargers. Terrell has coached at the NFL level for eight season as he attempts to land an offensive coordinator gig for the first time in his career.

Commanders interviewed Cardinals WR coach and passing-game coordinator Drew Terrell for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Terrell, then Commanders receivers coach, got a request for the Cardinals OC job before coming over to join Jonathan Gannon’s staff when Ron Rivera was fired. It sounds like with the Cardinals in the midst of a regime change of their own, Terrell has a chance to be considered for their OC role or perhaps reprise his passing-game coordinator role for the Commanders. They also interviewed in-house candidates, some of which are speculated to be David Blough, Brian Johnson, and Anthony Lynn, for the vacancy.

Cardinals officially announced a full list of coaching hires under new head coach Jonathan Gannon.
Most notably, Arizona native Drew Terrell will serve as the team’s new passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach. Terrell brings five years of NFL coaching experience to the retooling franchise, including serving as the wide receivers coach for the Washington Commanders for the previous two seasons. Former NFL running back Autry Denson was hired as the running backs coach, his first look at coaching at the professional level. A full list of the recent hires can be found on the Cardinals’ official website.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Cardinals have requested to interview Commanders WR coach Drew Terrell for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
Terrell has moved up from Panthers quality control coach to Commanders assistant wideouts coach to Commanders wideout coach over the past five years. He wouldn’t appear to have any real coaching experience with new Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, so this is an interesting request. Terrell has clearly done some impressive work with Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson over the past couple seasons.
