Hill still has practice-squad eligibility and may get a look elsewhere later in the offseason. Williams was an undrafted rookie from Louisiana-Monroe. Leak is Chris’ older brother. Goldsberry never had a chance to make the club.

Hill spent the last two seasons with Carolina, mainly on the practice squad. It’s highly unlikely that he’ll make the team.

They will go on injured reserve if they’re not claimed off waivers.

So much for being their third receiver. Wilson got chance after chance in Cleveland, especially this year, but the former third-round pick could never step up. With Sanders also cut, Josh Cribbs, Syndric Steptoe, and rookie Paul Hubbard made the team and will compete for snaps.

Hill was given a look as a returner during training camp before being let go and could get a chance at the job again. Carolina also signed LB Timi Wusu and cut OL Adam O’Connor and DL Rob Droege to make room.
