  • IND Wide Receiver #16

Dulin’s lone reception went for a 55-yard touchdown on a simple screen late in the third quarter to bring the Colts within three, but it likely came with the veteran journeyman sitting on waiver wires. Dulin is a name to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline as his role could be growing, pending what the team does with Josh Downs.
  • IND Wide Receiver #2
Downs saw numerous snaps in coverage by his younger brother, Caleb Downs, and was unable to return a usable fantasy outing for the seventh time in nine appearances for the Colts this season. The subject of significant trade speculation ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, Downs appears likely to be headed for a change of scenery in a contract year, with the Colts reportedly already holding an offer in hand. More to come from one of fantasy’s most disappointing mid-round selections.
  • IND Wide Receiver #10
Allen wasn’t targeted until late in the second quarter but picked up two receptions on back-to-back plays to tease fantasy managers in an otherwise poor outing. Things can’t get much worse in Indianapolis, with their decisions in the coming days ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline potentially allowing Allen to step into a more featured role in the second half of the season. Stay tuned as the Colts limp into a Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.
  • IND Tight End #84
Warren wasn’t targeted in the first half as the team struggled to move the football consistently, catching his first ball on the team’s second possession of the third quarter. The Colts limp toward Tuesday’s trade deadline with numerous key players the subject of trade speculation, of which quarterback Daniel Jones, wide receiver Josh Downs, and running back Jonathan Taylor are amongst. Which is to say, Warren’s fantasy expectations could be heavily influenced by the team’s actions in the coming days, potentially setting the second-year tight end up to be the team’s top option during the second half of the season. Warren would appear to be in a solid spot on paper against the Dolphins in Week 10, where his fantasy value will be dependent on who remains with the team through Tuesday.
  • IND Running Back #20
McGowan came on in relief of Jonathan Taylor on third-and-goal from the two late in the first quarter, cashing in on the opportunity for his first touchdown this season. a 36-yard scamper in the fourth quarter pushed his yards per carry mark to a healthy 7.5, dwarfing the 3.5 of Taylor. McGowan should not be on waiver wires ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, with the looming possibility that Taylor has played his final snap for the Colts.
  • IND Running Back #28
Taylor also lost a key fumble in the fourth quarter following the team’s second takeaway of the game, leaving fantasy managers wanting more in what could have been his final game in Indianapolis. Taylor has been the subject of significant trade speculation and rumor as we head toward Tuesday’s trade deadline, although teams will need to take on his recently-signed contract extension that ties him to the Colts through the 2028 season. Things started off rough as Taylor was subbed out on third-and-goal from the two, watching from the sideline as Seth McGowan punched it in for the team’s only rushing score of the game. It did not get better from their for Taylor’s fantasy managers as the Colts played through consistently negative game script, limiting his volume in the process. Taylor’s next opponent remains uncertain, although he currently lines up to take on the reeling Dolphins in Week 10, at least as long as he remains with the Colts.
  • IND Quarterback #17
The final score would have been much more lopsided if not for 14 accepted penalties from an undisciplined Cowboys team, something that allowed the Colts to surge back in the second half and take the lead with under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The efforts would prove fruitless as they immediately let Dak Prescott connect with Ryan Flournoy on a 46-yard gain on the first play of the following possession, resulting in a Javonte Williams touchdown. A Jones pick on the next possession sealed the game and sent the Colts to a 2-7 record ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, with questions abound regarding the future of the franchise. Jones has been a name linked to numerous teams this week, the most of which is the Vikings following the hamstring injury sustained by Kyler Murray. More to come as the Colts enter a tear-it-down rebuild.
  • IND Cornerback #27
No real surprises here as the Colts limp into their final game before the league’s trade deadline. That said there remains legitimate uncertainty surrounding the usages of Jonathan Taylor and Josh Downs, amongst others, in what could be their final game with the franchise.
  • IND Quarterback #17
Per Rapoport, the Ravens called Indy about Jones after Lamar Jackson went down with a potentially season-ending thumb injury. They eventually traded for Jacoby Brissett. With Kyler Murray hurt and playing poorly even when healthy, the Vikings are at least going to explore some outside options at quarterback. Jones was on the team’s practice squad in 2024 before joining the Colts last year.
  • IND Running Back #28
She added that the Giants have resolved to move on from the trade talks ahead of their Week 9 date with the Eagles. Things change quickly in the NFL and this report doesn’t guarantee that Taylor won’t be a Giant. On the other hand, Anderson’s reporting doesn’t leave much room error. With the Colts’ asking price reportedly being through the roof, the Giants are content with Cam Skattebo as their top back. Devin Singletary is expected to start this week with Skattebo banged up.
