    Giants released C Jonotthan Harrison.
The Giants signed Harris to a hefty reserve/futures contract in January. He has experience at both center and tackles in his seven pro seasons. With 42 starts to his name, Harrison will land on a practice squad in short order. The Giants also waived/released OT Kenny Wiggins, OG Jake Burton, and C Brett Heggie.

  • Giants signed C Jonotthan Harrison to a reserve/futures contract.
Harrison signed for $2 million, the exceedingly rare futures deal over the minimum. Harrison, 29, has played for the Colts and Jets during his seven years in the league, lining up at center and tackle. He was a regular starter for much of the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Jets. Signing for over the minimum would indicate that Harrison has a shot to make the Giants’ active roster in 2021.

  • Jets re-signed C Jonotthan Harrison.
The five-year vet played over Spencer Long in the second half of last year and started the team’s final seven games at center. With an ability to additionally play at left guard, Harrison will be vying for a starting spot in camp.
  • Colts reserve OL Jonotthan Harrison is recovering from an appendectomy.
A center by trade, Harrison has played 61 snaps at guard this season. He’s week to week, and will probably miss 2-3 contests.
  • Jets signed G/C Jonotthan Harrison, formerly of the Colts.
A restricted free agent, Harrison wasn’t tendered a contract by the Colts. Harrison has been a jack of all trades, even playing a little tackle, but saw his snaps decline each of the past two seasons. He was still on the field for 453 plays in 2016, but was not effective. Ideally he’d be the rebuilding Jets’ primary reserve along the interior.
  • Jonnotthan Harrison has been getting reps at guard during OTAs.
He’s made 19 starts at center over the last two seasons, but that position will be occupied by first-round pick Ryan Kelly. With Kelly at center, Harrison will slide over to right guard where he’ll compete with Hugh Thornton and Denzelle Good. Harrison played almost exclusively at center in college (one start at guard) and hasn’t played a full game at guard in the pros.
  • Khaled Holmes and Jonotthan Harrison have been splitting reps at center for the Colts this offseason.
Both players started games last season, but neither was particularly impressive. Holmes would appear to have the upper hand after closing out the season as the starter, but it is truly an open competition. The Colts only meaningful addition to their offensive line this offseason was 32-year-old Todd Herremans.
  • Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Khaled Holmes and Jonotthan Harrison will compete for the starting center job this season.
Neither player was particularly effective in 2014, though Harrison out-snapped Holmes 669 to 143. Holmes is 25 and Harrison is just 23, so both players have upside. A.Q. Shipley joined the Cardinals earlier this offseason. He played 386 snaps at center for Indy last season.
  • Jets re-signed C Jonotthan Harrison.
Harrison made a handful of starts in 2016 but played just over 100 snaps last year. He provides the Jets with some depth at the interior line spots.
  • ESPN Colts reporter Mike Wells said the expectation in Jonotthan Harrison will be the team’s starting center “for years to come.”
Khaled Holmes earned a ton of praise this offseason before suffering an ankle injury in August. A. Q. Shipley stepped up after the Holmes’ injury, but was replaced in the starting lineup by Harrison against Baltimore Week 6. Now it appears the job is Harrison’s to lose. He will be the starting center in Indianapolis for the foreseeable future.
