    Cardinals released CB Josh Jackson.
Arizona also cut Koda Martin and Joe Walker. Jackson was signed in July but proved to be a camp body. He appeared in two games for the Chiefs last year, seeing most of his run on special teams. The 26-year-old will likely open the year on a practice squad or as a free agent.

    Cardinals signed CB Josh Jackson.
Jackson is now on his third team in less than one year after the Packers traded him to the Giants last August. He failed to see the field during his brief stint in New York, as he was cut in late October before spending the remainder of 2021 on the Chiefs’ practice squad. Now with the Cardinals, Jackson will look to be more than a training camp body as the former second-round pick brings four years of experience and that includes 15 career starts. Jackson first joined Arizona on a tryout during minicamp, but is now expected to join the team at training camp this summer.

    Giants waive CB Josh Jackson.
Acquired from the Packers in exchange for CB Isaac Yiadom in August, Jackson failed to play a single snap for New York all year. The team also waived WR David Sills.

Giants acquired CB Josh Jackson from the Packers in exchange for CB Isaac Yiadom.
The No. 45 overall pick of the 2018 draft, Jackson managed just 331 defensive snaps for the Pack last season and has not been on the field for more than half the plays since his rookie season. The Packers re-signed Kevin King and used a first-round pick on CB Eric Stokes in the offseason. Jackson has the size to play outside but has not demonstrated the speed or agility he was thought to have coming out of Iowa. If he doesn’t impress the Giants in a hurry his agent might be setting up workouts in September.

Packers placed CB Josh Jackson (foot) on the active/NFI list.
Green Bay also placed Mason Crosby (calf) on their active/NFI list. Jackson sat out the team’s first camp practice, allowing Josh Jones to slide into cornerback drills. Raven Greene is another option for secondary reps if Darnell Savage (teeth) and Jackson miss an extended period of time.

Packers selected Iowa CB Josh Jackson with the No. 45 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
Jackson (6’0/196) dabbled at wideout his first two years as a Hawkeye before breaking out to lead the nation in interceptions (8) and pass breakups (26) as a 2017 redshirt junior cornerback, earning first-team All-American and Big Ten DB of the Year. PFF College charted Jackson with an anemic 32.2 passer rating allowed in 2017. Although Jackson lacks blazing straight-line speed (4.54), he tested as a top-five SPARQ athlete in this cornerback class and offers field-flipping ball skills. Most scouts thought Jackson would be better in zone than man coverage. The Packers just doubled up at the position after taking Jaire Alexander in round one.

Packers signed second-round CB Josh Jackson to a four-year contract.
Arguably a first-round talent, Jackson surprisingly slipped to the second despite great college production -- he led the nation in interceptions (8) and pass breakups (26) in 2017 -- and a good showing at the Combine despite a 4.54 forty. Along with first-round CB Jaire Alexander, Jackson should immediately help upgrade the secondary.
