Larry Croom will start at running back for the Cardinals in week 13.
He’s playing the Lions, so fantasy owners in need of a healthy running back may as well pick Croom up. His results Sunday (10 carries, 25 yards) weren’t exciting.
  • PIT Running Back
Larry Croom will start at running back for the Cardinals again this week.
He’s facing the 49ers, so Croom is at least a consideration for desperate fantasy owners.
  • PIT Running Back
Cardinals released running backs Larry Croom and Roger Robinson.
Croom had 18 carries in a week 13 game and nearly started the next week because of a Emmitt Smith injury. Smith got healthy, and Croom didn’t touch the ball again all season.
  • PIT Running Back
Larry Croom rushed ten times for 25 yards in relief of Emmitt Smith today.
We never thought Troy Hambrick would be so sorely missed. Pass on picking up Arizona’s reserve running backs, even if Emmitt Smith is seriously injured.
  • PIT Running Back
Larry Croom started in place of injured Emmitt Smith, but had just 49 yards on 18 carries and no touchdowns.
Hopefully Emmitt will be back next week.
  • PIT Running Back
It appears the Larry Croom era could be over.
Emmitt Smith was upgraded to probable for week 14. Croom may still get his share of carries, but he’s not a fantasy option unless he starts.
  • PIT Running Back
    Steelers signed RB Larry Croom.
Croom will be the Steelers’ seventh-string runner for as long as he lasts.
  • PIT Running Back
    Titans signed RB Larry Croom.
He’s got an outside chance to make Tennessee’s roster.

Chargers released RB Larry Croom, T Jeromey Clary, DE Chase Page, WR Ricky Bryant, QB Brett Elliott, FB Jonathan Evans, TE Kelly Gregory, RB Tyronne Gross, OT Ben Johnson, C Nick Mihlhauser, WR Robert Ortiz, RB Ray Perkins, and G Wes Sims.
Perkins is a surprise. Croom wasn’t. The Chargers will likely use fullback Andrew Pinnock as their third tailback this season.
