  • Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio declined to comment on whether T Khalif Barnes would be disciplined following his most recent motor vehicle incident.
    Barnes was involved in a one-car accident on Saturday. Last season he was suspended for one game following a DWI arrest in November. He is also dealing with an ankle sprain, though Barnes said that should not hold him out of action. Maurice Williams would replace Barnes if he sits out.

    If Barnes doesn’t play, Chiefs RE Jared Allen could have his way with Maurice Williams. Williams has been a starter before in his seven-year career, but mostly on the right side. Allen has been on a tear since being reinstated.

    Williams, who the Jags reportedly tried to trade on draft day, agreed to a pay cut in return for having the last two years of his contract voided. He will make $2 million instead of $3.5 million this season, and will be a free agent at the end of this season.
