Oklahoma senior WR Mike Woods has missed two games, but could be back in action on Saturday.
Woods (6'1/198) has been quite missed for the past two contests as he’s been sidelined with an undisclosed injury, but it appears he’ll be back in action in time for the Sooners’ matchup against the No. 13-ranked Baylor Bears. Woods himself tweeted this week that he’s “back active” so it would be extremely surprising not to see him in the lineup at this point. So far this season, Woods totals 25 receptions for 294 yards with two touchdowns.

Oklahoma senior WR Mike Woods (undisclosed) is not expected to play in Saturday’s game against Texas Tech.
Woods (6'1/198) has been one of Oklahoma’s best receivers this season, and the hope was that he would be available to play Saturday. Unfortunately that will not be the case, and the senior’s absence leaves a gaping hole at the wide receiver spot opposite Jadon Haselwood. Woods has caught 25 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Oklahoma senior WR Mike Woods (undisclosed) has a chance to play against Texas Tech this Saturday.
Woods (6'1/196) has caught 25 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns this season, ranking second on the team in both receptions and receiving yards. He has started every one of OU’s games this year as the team’s primary outside Z-WR opposite Jadon Haselwood. He has logged 258 offensive snaps through seven games and would give the Oklahoma passing game a boost this Saturday against Texas Tech if he is able to play.

Oklahoma junior WR Mike Woods (undisclosed) has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday’s game at Kansas.
Woods (6'1/198) did not record any stats during the first half, and after halftime he was seen on the sideline out of uniform. The Arkansas transfer has caught 25 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns this season, ranking second on the team in both receptions and receiving yards.

Former Arkansas junior WR Mike Woods transferred to Oklahoma.
Woods (6'1/196) announced his intention to explore a transfer just days after taking part in Arkansas’ spring game where he caught a pair of touchdown passes from QB KJ Jefferson. The former three-star recruit logged a 32-619-5 receiving line during the 2020 campaign. The junior wideout would make a useful rotational cog for whatever program ultimately ends up landing him. On the Razorbacks side of this equation, Woods’ exit from Fayetteville will mean additional reps and responsibilities for Darin Turner and Ketron Jackson (both of whom trailed Woods on the spring game depth chart). For their part, Oklahoma adds another downfield weapon to compliment sensational second-year player Marvin Mims.

Arkansas junior WR Mike Woods entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Arkansas junior WR Mike Woods registered four receptions for a game-high 140 yards in Saturday’s 27-24 setback against LSU.
Woods (6'1/196) had just one 100-yard receiving game in his first 24 collegiate games until last week, when he set a new career high with 129 yards and two touchdowns. Well, he didn’t score in this one, but he did post a new career high in yardage for the second consecutive weekend. He has really jelled nicely with redshirt senior QB Feleipe’ Franks, giving the Hogs a potent pass-catch combo which has been sorely lacking over the years. Woods will look to keep up the good work in Saturday’s road trip to battle Texas A&M.

Arkansas junior WR Mike Woods picked up 129 yards and two scores on just two catches in a 63-35 loss to Florida on Saturday.
Tough to beat that efficiency. Woods (6'1/196) tied the game when he found the end zone on a beautiful 47-yard connection with Kyle Trask in the first quarter to make it 7-7. The second touchdown was in garbage time, but it was an 82-yard connection in the fourth that saw Florida still lead 56-28. Woods now has scored four touchdowns on the season, and he can add to that total next Saturday against a bad LSU defense.

Arkansas sophomore WR Mike Woods hauled in four passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in a 31-24 loss to San Jose State on Saturday.
Woods and the Razorbacks had to go heavy into throw-mode in this one after falling behind 24-7, and he was one of the top targets for Nick Starkel in the near comeback. The touchdown was a 62-yarder that tied the game at 7-7 in the first quarter, but he also had some big catches in the drive that tied the game. Unfortunately for him and the Razorbacks, they couldn’t hang on in a game they were expected to win easily. Woods should be involved again next Saturday against Texas A&M.

Arkansas sophomore WR Mike Woods said that he has scaled back on the amount of carbs in his diet.
Woods felt that he was playing “too big” in the fall, when he measured in at 202 pounds. He trimmed off to 190 for spring practice, explaining that “I’m a big carbs guy, and I had to cut out some things. I love noodles, and what I’ve tried to do is eat more chicken and rice.” The sophomore logged an 18-206-1 receiving line last season. While he underwent wrist surgery earlier this offseason, Woods is expected to be a healthy performer in August camp. If Arkansas HC Chad Morris can get this offense humming, Woods could be in for a nice step-up campaign in the fall.
