    These moves were made on top of numerous exchanges of UDFAs by the Bucs. The four listed players were signed to reserve/future type deals in the winter. Balogun has now spent time with the Buccaneers, Bills, and the Cowboys.

    49ers released LB Matt Wilhelm, K Shane Andrus, LB Mike Balogun, G Brian De La Puente, OT Matt Kopa, and DE Derek Walker.
    Wilhelm didn’t look out of his league during preseason, but the 49ers will go with younger linebackers inside like NaVorro Bowman behind Patrick Willis and Takeo Spikes. Andrews was just a camp leg behind starter Joe Nedney.

    Bills signed LB Mike Balogun from the Bucs’ practice squad.
    The undrafted rookie also spent time on the Redskins’ practice squad this season after being with the 49ers during training camp and the preseason. He’ll provide depth with Andra Davis out for the year.

    Cowboys claimed LB Mike Balogun off waivers from the Bills.
    The Eagles also put in a claim. At 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds, Balogun is an inside linebacker/special teams prospect for the offseason. He’ll be a long shot to make Dallas’ 2011 roster.

    Bills waived LB Mike Balogun.
    The Bills signed Balogun off the Bucs’ practice squad in November, but he wasn’t active for any games. He’s a former undrafted free agent from Oklahoma.
