Washington S Myles Bryant ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Bryant’s number is pretty mediocre for a defensive back, anyway. From one that measured in at 5-foot-8, 183-pounds? Not great, folks. On top of that, Bryant also had the worst vertical (31.5 inches) and broad jump (115 inches) of any defensive back. Where Bryant did shine, however, was in the cone drills, as he showed off his quickness with the second fastest 20-yard shuttle (4.02 seconds) and three-cone drills (6.81). At best, it’s a mixed day for the former Husky star.

Washington S Myles Bryant was named to PFF College’s National Team of the Week for his performance in the Huskies’ 52-20 victory over Hawaii last Saturday.
Bryant (5'8/180) had a standout day against the Rainbow Warriors posting four solo tackles, two interceptions and a sack in the contest. Thought Bryant was a 2nd-Team All Pac-12 nominee last season he did not record a single interception, though he did break up 6 passes and recorded 3.5 sacks to go along with 61 tackles. Washington travels to BYU this weekend to take on the upset minded Cougars.

Per Pro Football Focus, Washington senior CB Myles Bryant forced an incompletion on 17.9 percent of targets.
Bryant (5'8/180) only allowed 1.08 yards per cover snap and one touchdown per six pass breakups. He has mostly played slot-corner for the first three seasons of his collegiate career, largely due to being undersized. Bryant has strong Football IQ, elite quickness, and potential at the next level. He was already on the NFL draft radar before deciding to return for his senior season so another strong year should keep his draft stock afloat.

Washington junior CB Myles Bryant will return for his senior season.
Bryant (5'8/180) has been a slot-corner for three seasons, and he’ll look to boost his draft stock during his senior season. Undersized for the NFL, Bryant will need to keep showing his quick feet to make it at the next level. One thing that’s not in question is his football IQ. Washington secondary coach Jimmy Lake said that he’s like a coach on the field. It’s a good day for the Huskies.

Washington junior CB Myles Bryant is mulling leaving school early to enter the NFL Draft.
Bryant (5'8/180) has been a performer for the Huskies since his freshman year, and has been the slot-corner for the Huskies for the last three years. While he doesn’t have elite NFL size, he does have tremendous quickness, and he’s a sure tackler who could certainly help in nickel situations. The Huskies have four-star defenders who could take Bryant’s place if he does leave, but with Taylor Rapp off to the NFL already and Byron Murphy very likely leaving soon, this would be a huge loss for their depth.

Washington secondary coach Jimmy Lake said that sophomore DB Myles Bryant reminds him of former star S Budda Baker in his ability to serve as coach-on-the-field.
“The guys love him. They see how hard he works in the weight room, on the field. He’s smart,” Lake said. “He knows his position, he knows other people’s positions, so he can make the checks, make the calls.” Bryant (5'8/180), a former walk-on, saw the field in 11 games as a true freshman and is off to a hot start this season, having recorded 10 tackles and a pass defended in two games while starting at nickleback. Said Lake, “We’re really, really excited about him.”
