    Raiders signed TE O.J. Santiago.
He hasn’t played since 2003. The 32-year-old ex-Bronco, Brown, Falcon, and Cowboy will battle James Adkisson for a roster spot.

Broncos waived tight end O.J. Santiago, Luis Almanzar, running back Santonio Beard, wide receiver Atnaf Harris, safety Ron Israel, linebacker Riall Johnson, defensive tackle Brandon Kennedy, guard Tyler Lenda, quarterback Mike Quinn, tackle Jamain Stephens and cornerback Scott Turner.
Santiago might catch on in Arizona, who could use a reserve tight end.

Tight end O.J. Santiago is one of nine Broncos expected to be released by Tuesday.
The former Raider couldn’t crack the crowded Denver tight end rotation. He should catch on somewhere.
  • LV Tight End
The Bucs will look at tight end O.J. Santiago this week.
They’ll also take a look at Byron Chamberlain to fill a reserve tight end role.

Former Falcons tight end O.J. Santiago signed with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.
Santiago, now 36, was part of the NFC Champion Falcons team that made the Dirty Bird famous back in 1998. He currently lives in Whitby, Canada.

Raiders signed TE O.J. Santiago, formerly of the Patriots.
Santiago is mostly a blocker. He’ll likely hang around until final cuts.

The Broncos signed tight end O.J. Santiago, formerly of the Raiders.
Denver signing two tight ends in one day is bad news for Shannon Sharpe possibly returning. But it’s still just speculation. Worse news for Sharpe’s chances are hints from ESPN.com’s Len Pasquarelli that he has already made the choice to retire. Sharpe will let Denver know before the draft.
  • LV Tight End
Patriots released TE O.J. Santiago, placed TE Rod Trafford on practice-squad I.R., and signed TE Matt Kranchik to the practice squad.
That’s fairly odd considering that Santiago and Trafford were brought in this week. Kranchik was cut by the Buccaneers in training camp.
  • LV Tight End
Patriots signed TE O.J. Santiago, formerly of the Raiders.
Some odd player movement between two completely opposite organizations is going on. Santiago is a blocker who will provide insurance for Ben Watson (leg). Daniel Graham will likely step up his role in the passing game and rookie David Thomas too could figure in a bit more.
