Arian Foster, Laremy Tunsil listed as starters on Dolphins depth chart
Shortly after running back Arian Foster signed with the Dolphins this summer, Dolphins coach Adam Gase said that “time will tell” if Foster is on the field for the first snap of games but that the veteran is “going to be rolling with the ones” during the 2016 season.
It looks like Foster will be able to start rolling with the ones from the start of the regular season. Foster is listed as the starting running back on the team’s Week One depth chart after sitting behind Jay Ajayi on earlier versions.
Gase said, via Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, that Foster’s experience and his performance in camp helped him jump Ajayi. Damien Williams is the No. 3 with Isaiah Pead and rookie Kenyan Drake in the “other” category.
The depth chart also shows first-round pick Laremy Tunsil at left guard, which was to be expected after the team moved him into the lineup for the second and third preseason games and sat him out of the finale. Veteran Jermon Bushrod, who started the final three preseason games, will be at right guard.
