Teams which aren’t in the playoff chase can spend the rest of the season making plans for the future.
The Bills fall into that category, and have gotten to work.
The team announced they had signed defensive tackle Alan Branch to a contract extension. Terms weren’t announced, but he was set to become an unrestricted free agent, after signing a one-year deal with the Bills last offseason.
Branch had become a valuable piece for a solid defense, and now he gets to hang around for another year.
