Steelers starting defensive end Brett Keisel will miss Sunday’s game with the Patriots with a sprained MCL. Keisel suffered the injury against the Bengals on Thursday. Mike Tomlin announced Keisel’s status at a press conference. He also said that Keisel would be out “of course a couple of weeks surely to follow. We’ll take it week to week with him.” Keisel, who missed three games earlier this season with a calf injury, has started the last six games for the Steelers and has 35 tackles and one sack this season. Travis Kirschke started in Keisel’s place earlier this season. Tomlin also said that wide receiver Santonio Holmes was likely to play despite suffering a concussion last week. Willie Parker, who left the Bengal game with an inflamed knee, is questionable.
