Washington outside linebacker Brian Orakpo suffered a pectoral muscle injury in today’s win over Tennessee that may be significant.
Orakpo will have an MRI on Monday and the team fears he suffered a partially torn right pectoral muscle, CSNWashington.com reports.
It’s already a disappointing season for Orakpo, who is making $11.5 million this year as a franchise player and has just 0.5 sacks to show for it. Orakpo has also struggled with injuries to a finger and an ankle.
Orakpo has twice previously suffered pectoral injuries, in 2011 and in 2012, but both of those injuries were to his left pectoral.
