The Denver Broncos have announced that they’re not raising season-ticket prices for the 2010 season, holding the line on prices for the third straight season.
And the team will even reduce some club-level ticket prices by 21 percent.
“We recognize and understand the economic challenges facing our fans,” Broncos Senior Vice President of Business Development Mac Freeman said on the team’s web site. “Their support for the Broncos has remained overwhelming despite an uncertain financial climate. We appreciate their loyalty and want to make sure they can continue to share in the excitement of our team during the 2010 season.”
The Broncos have raised season-ticket prices seven times since winning the Super Bowl after the 1998 season, but the team may have reached the point where fans won’t keep renewing if the prices keep going up without the product on the field improving.
The Broncos also announced that four sections of Invesco Field will be an alcohol-free family zone.
